Case study · Buzz Money Coach
An accountancy practice sees a business owner's company accounts every year. Their personal money, the pension they keep meaning to sort and the spending that drifts, sits outside those conversations. Buzz Money Coach was built for that gap.
A client can stop at any step. The free tools work out the answer in the browser and show it straight away; the email box comes after, for people who want the report kept.
The money type in two minutes and the Financial Freedom Score in about seven.
A bank account connected read-only. The optional 45-minute session is £39, waived for Buzz Accounting clients.
Twelve months written down, with four sets of ninety-day goals and a date against every action.
A session a month worked against the road map. Cancel any time, or pay as you go from £39.
Coaching covers habits, spending and planning. It is not regulated financial advice. When a client needs a recommendation on a pension, an investment, protection or a mortgage, they are introduced to Equity & General (FCA 474163), the authorised firm. If they become its client, Equity & General pays Buzz a commission, and the client is told before the introduction.
Twenty-two statements across eight areas, each rated from 0 to 10 and scored out of 100. The printable report gives a tip for every area, and the weakest one is called out first.
Example result, drawn for this page.
Twenty statements sort into four patterns. Each type comes with what it costs, what it is good for and one question to think about, so every result has an upside.
Looks away from money because it is uncomfortable.
Feels more money would fix it, and the number keeps moving.
Reads what they have as a measure of who they are.
Careful, private and prepared. The most protective type.
Statements and scoring are Buzz's own, written from published research on money beliefs.
Behind the session
After the Healthcheck the last few months of a client's bank account sort themselves into real spending. The coach reads a preparation note in Buzz OS before the call: the spending patterns, how ready the client is to talk about each topic, and what to leave alone today.
Checkout for the Money Road Map and monthly coaching runs through Buzz OS too, with every price held in one product catalogue. A five-part welcome sequence goes to everyone who signs up, sent through Brevo from the site's own domain.
Takeaways and deliveries up in each of the last three months. Two subscriptions unused since spring.
Pension. Raised it last month and it went quiet.
Illustration. The client and figures are fictional.
Where it got to
The site takes sign-ups and runs both tools, with checkout through Buzz OS. Its warmest audience is the business owners Buzz Accounting already serves. A library of UK guides with 2026 figures and worked examples is linked from the accounting, coaching and legal sites.
